Peter regularly serves other financial services professionals in a consultative capacity, providing insight and expertise on business succession strategies that encompass retirement and estate planning, insurance, and benefits for key employees. Peter’s clients have included large public corporations, large and small closely-held businesses, banking institutions, non-profit organizations, telephone / electric power cooperatives and professional partnerships throughout the country.
Providing industry leadership, Peter served as President of the Dallas Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), and is an active member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU) where he served on the Nonqualified Plans Committee, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Peter has published several articles and speaks several times a year at various financial service industry events on executive benefit and business owner retirement transition planning topics.
Peter is a graduate from the University of Georgia, where he earned his B.B.A. degree in Marketing. He has also earned the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from the American College, and is a Fellow with Distinction of the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
